Yeast infections are basically an overabundance of a specific type of fungal organism. That organism is C. albicans. This organism can cause a variety of fungal diseases in the moist areas of the body and one of the most common ways it manifests is through a yeast infection.
Bacterial vaginosis
This is the most common form of vaginitis. Bacterial vaginosis due to the vaginal biome changing. If you have bacterial vaginosis, chances are something happened which has caused a bacterial imbalance in your body. Now one or more of the regular bacteria which normally exist in your body has experienced out-of-control population growth.
